State of Origin Late Mail: Game Two

New South Wales v Queensland, Wednesday at Melbourne Cricket Ground

New South Wales: Liam Martin didn’t train with the team on Wednesday but will be right to go for the Melbourne game. Dylan Edwards (quad) returned strongly in Penrith’s win over Newcastle prior to Origin selection and will play while Cameron Murray is also good to go after his injury return the week prior.

Queensland: No changes expected for the Maroons with superstar fullback Reece Walsh in no doubt for the clash against missing the last two weeks under the NRL’s concussion protocols. Kurt Capewell has replaced bench utility Selwyn Cobbo while Felise Kaufusi has been promoted to the bench after featuring as 18th man during the series opener, a role to be filled by Dane Gagai in Game Two. Jeremiah Nanai didn’t train with the side as he manages a niggle with compression gear on his right leg but is expected to play.
