Well here’s an interesting one for you – apparently the more cash you give to your grandkids, the greater the grounds they have to contest your will.
View Legal lawyer Matthew Burgess told Afternoons presenter Michael Tetlow a recent case in New South Wales has set a new precedent.
“A lot of people would say it’s one of the joys in life – being generous with their grandchildren,” he said.
“But there’s a counterintuitive risk that the more you have provided, the more it’s going to support a successful claim.”
