Terri Irwin’s love story in Tasmania as she ‘prepares to move’

Must read

Terri Irwin is reportedly planning to relocate to Tasmania after falling in love with the state.

The 59-year-old is currently enjoying a four-week holiday on the island with her son Robert, her daughter Bindi, son-in-law Chandler Powell and granddaughter Grace.

According to New Idea, Terri is considering setting up a local conservation in Apple Isle while Bindi and Chandler take over the operation of Australia Zoo in Queensland.

‘Judging by all the luggage, it looks like Terri might be already looking at setting up more permanent digs,’ a source told the publication.

‘Terri’s vision will see a similar project to Australia Zoo but with a more traditional wildlife ambience and not the theme-park vibe.’

‘She will spend more and more time in Tassie while Bindi and Chandler slowly take over the operation of things in Queensland.’

The source also claimed Bindi and Robert would like their mother to meet ‘someone amazing’ in Tasmania.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Terri Irwin for comment.

It comes after Robert was recently announced as an ambassador for Discover Tasmania.

Last week, the I’m A Celebrity host told news.com.au, his favourite places to visit in the state.

When in Tasmania, he loves to visit Cradle Mountain, an iconic site rife with natural beauty.

‘There are so many stunning hikes and incredibly friendly wildlife,’ Robert explained.

‘I also enjoy the Tasman Peninsula, Launceston, Swansea and the stunning Tarkine Wilderness just to name a few spots.’
