Hwajing Travel, the exclusive charterer for Costa Cruises in
Malaysia, is bringing back the Italian cruise liner Costa Serena to
homeport in Port Klang, Malaysia for the December 2024 holiday season.
The travel agency has announced three itineraries departing from Port
Klang: a 4-day, 3-night trip to Phuket; a 3-day, 2-night trip to
Penang; and a 6-day, 5-night journey to Vietnam and Hong Kong.
Kenny Cheong, managing director of Hwajing Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd,
stated, “Following our inaugural season in March this year, we are
delighted to bring back the beautiful Costa Serena to homeport in Port
Klang. We are proud to play a significant role in boosting cruise
tourism in Malaysia and supporting local businesses in the Port Klang
area, while offering Malaysian and regional travellers an affordable,
convenient and relaxing way to travel around the region.”
Multiple sailings to Phuket and Penang will be offered throughout
December, with the final sailing departing on 15 December 2024, from
Port Klang to Phu My and Hong Kong. The Costa Serena features various
dining options, including Italian and Asian cuisines, as well as
entertainment such as a Venice Carnival Party and a Water Chute Slide.
Hwajing Travel is offering early bird promotions for bookings made
before 31 July 2024, including free cruises for children 12 and under,
and a 10% discount for seniors aged 55 and above. Through this charter,
the travel agency aims to provide value for multi-generational family
holidays, with 3-day, 2-night cruises starting from RM599 (US$127) per
person.
