A man’s long-winded advertisement offering ‘free sensual massages’ to ‘women of any age’ has left locals feeling uneasy and on the lookout for creeps.

The note, which urged women to ‘not be shy’, was taped to an electricity pole on the main street of Murwillumbah, a small town near Byron Bay.

One woman’s protective partner noticed it and tore it down.

The note read: ‘Hi, my name is (redacted), I am a mature male offering free sensual massage to women Monday to Thursday.

‘I am very experienced and discreet, can make myself available during the day if required. Age doesn’t matter.’

This ad was taped onto a pole in a small town’s main street

He detailed how a shower and towels would be available and added he is happy to meet up for a coffee or send a photo to make inquiring women feel more comfortable.

‘I’m curious and playful, I love sensual touch and giving long, slow massages,’ he wrote.

He said he was seeking quality over quantity.

‘If you are feeling stressed and tired or would just love a full body massage please call or text me… please take me up on my free offer,’ he wrote.

Murwillumbah is just north of celebrity and tourist hotspot Byron Bay and has a population of about 10,000.

The note became hot gossip in the town before it was posted online.

Those who saw it were quick to remark on the man’s ‘giant red flags’.

‘Stay tuned for next weeks episode of Criminal Minds,’ one woman wrote on the post.

‘At first I was like oh yeah could be a business but further I read the more speechless I got like,’ another said.

‘Probably uses embalming fluid for massage oil,’ added a third.

One claimed the note was simply a ‘disguised escort service’ but people slammed that idea.

‘Wrong. Escorts don’t work for free. He is just a creepy guy trying to fulfil a fet/kink he has,’ one said.

But some seemed keen.

‘Honestly my back is so freaking sore that part of me is like…’ one woman joked.

‘I’ve only been to Murwillumbah like 10 times and absolutely loved it. Might be back sooner that I thought, thanks,’ wrote another.

And for some the ad hit a little too close to home.

‘Not me reading this and realising my boyfriend has the same name and is from Murwillumbah,’ one woman wrote.
