Eric Edholm ranked the NFL divisions by the quarterback talent in each division. He ranked the AFC South seventh of the eight divisions. Ranking them only ahead of the NFC South. The AFC South has the youngest group of starters in the league with Trevor Lawrence and his three years of experience being the most tenured of the group.
These rankings are obviously pretty pointless. The AFC South does seem to have the biggest ceiling of the group. Will Levis of the Tennessee Titans and Anthony Richardson of the Indianapolis Colts are both unknowns. Levis didn’t start until late in the season behind a terrible offensive line. Richardson was hurt early in the season. Both guys have pretty high ceilings.
The question that is interesting to me on this front is where this group will be ranked next year. They could be as high as one if all of the guys in the group reach their full potential. What’s your prediction?
