A warehouse has erupted in flames and is sending plumes of black smoke over Western Sydney.
Dozens of firefighters responded to a fifth alarm fire – the highest level alarm – at a single-storey Industrial Galvanizers factory on Amax Avenue in Girraween about 11.45am.
Workers have evacuated the building and there are no indications anyone is still inside.
Black clouds of smoke are billowing from the warehouse and can be seen in the sky from suburbs over.
This situation is ongoing and more firefighters are on their way.
