Bindi Irwin has taken to social media along with her three-year-old daughter Grace to share exciting news with her immense fanbase.
Bindi Irwin has opened up about her endometriosis diagnosis and how she feels like a “brand new” person after a recent surgery to treat the chronic disease.
Irwin’s daughter Grace featured in the video announcement posted to Instagram on Thursday. The three-year-old also stars in the children’s book which is set to launch in the US and Australia early next year.
Irwin captioned the video with her late father Steve Irwin’s iconic trademark catchphrase and directed fans to pre-order a copy of the Random House Kids picture book.
“Today is one of the very best days of my entire life, I officially get to share with you my new children’s book, ‘You Are a Wildlife Warrior!’ Woohoo! Crikey!” Irwin said in her video announcement.
“This book takes you on an amazing journey with me and my wonderful daughter Grace.
“You’ll explore our home – Australia Zoo – and the conservation work we do all over the world.”
Irwin said she hoped the book would inspire the next generation to “love, respect and protect our natural world”.
“It means the world to share our journey with you,” Irwin continued, before signing off with her daughter Grace.
In the video, Irwin thanked her talented illustrator Ramona Kaulitzki, who she said had “captured our world so perfectly”.
In the comments section, Terri Irwin congratulated her daughter and praised the book as a “fantastic fun story for everyone!”
“I am tremendously proud of you. You are a wonderful mama and a true Wildlife Warrior!” she wrote.

Australia Zoo’s official Instagram account also congratulated Irwin on her achievement.
Irwin’s husband, Chandler Powell, also congratulated her and shared how happy he was that all her hard work had paid off.
“So incredibly proud of Bindi for working so hard to create an amazing children’s book,” Powell wrote in a post.
“It’s a super fun story that also introduces important conservation initiatives.
“Can’t wait for February when it comes out!”
