In fact, Brodie-Sangster almost had a very different (but equally famous) character on his resume too.
The actor once revealed he actually auditioned for the role of Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter franchise way back in 2000, before the casting was announced.
He was 10 and admitted to Radio Times that it was a tough loss when he didn’t win the role.
“It was my first experience of rejection and hit me quite hard. I had feelings of anger and frustration, but I couldn’t really put the blame on anyone for not giving me the role,” he said.
“I do remember thinking, though, that the next time I went for an audition, I’d have to put up a shield to stop myself from getting hurt.”
Still, it didn’t stop Brodie-Sangster from attending the premiere of Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban in 2004, pictured here.
