Zenless Zone Zero 1.0 release date and full list of new content
Zenless Zone Zero version 1.0 is jam-packed with new content. The game has a ton more to offer than what was available in the closed beta test.
For those who played the closed beta, Zenless Zone Zero 1.0 brings a bunch of new stuff to explore in the world. There’s now a whole new second floor to explore in Random Play, complete with bedrooms for the main characters, siblings Belle and Wise. Random Play is a video store in New Eridu, as well as the home of the MCs.
The official release promises a significantly expanded city filled with new places to explore and secrets to uncover. The familiar Sixth Street, home to our protagonists, has received a major expansion. But that’s not all — a brand new district called Lumina Square awaits your exploration.
For those who love a good challenge and a healthy dose of lore, the permanent game mode Hollow Zero gets a fantastic upgrade. Version 1.0 introduces a dedicated overworld map for Hollow Zero. This means you’ll have a clearer picture of the ever-changing dungeons and can potentially strategize your runs more effectively.
Ahead of the game’s release, HoYoverse is giving away free 100 pulls and 80 Boopons.
Zenless Zone Zero 1.0 new agents
Two new playable characters are joining the fight for ZZZ’s official release. There’s Piper, who unleashes physical attacks and is part of the Sons of Calydon. Lucy brings the fire as a Support Agent, buffing your entire team to dominate the battlefield.

The developers have unveiled the game’s first featured S-Rank Agents in Zenless Zone Zero 1.0 banners, ready to join your adventures upon launch.
Leading the charge is Ellen Joe, hailing from Victoria Housekeeping. From July 4, 2024, during Phase 1 of the Zenless Zone Zero 1.0 banner, you’ll have the chance to recruit this powerful agent and unleash her unique skills on the battlefield.
Later on July 24, 2024, Phase 2 of the banner kicks off, introducing Zhu Yuan, a formidable member of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team.
On top of the abovementioned characters, you can also invite any Agent you’ve encountered in the main Zenless Zone Zero story.
