The singer once had a retro era, opting for polka dots and babydoll dresses, and a Candyland-inspired wardrobe that gave her looks a caricature feel.

Now, Perry is stepping up her game, recently rocking elevated designs by some of the world’s most reputable fashion houses.

Her distinct aesthetics have been unique and eye-catching in previous years; this time, they are no different.

The days of technicolour dream worlds and bright hair colours have been traded in for colour-blocked ensembles and her natural hair.

Now she's a pastel-hued pop queen with a strange thing for candy!
Katy Perry’s bright costume style has been totally flipped.

Perry’s fashion renaissance has been perfectly timed with the release of her new album, KP 6.

One of the songs on her album, Woman’s World, epitomises her new, highly-feminine, futuristic style.

Unsurprisingly, we all love this new wave of fashion sense as Perry collaborates with an Aussie designer, Tatiana Waterford.

Since they paired, Perry has been dripping in Schiaparelli, Coperni, Vivienne Westwood, Roberto Cavalli and Thom Browne.

Contemporary, structured, and more subdued looks have made their way to Paris Fashion Week, with the Teenage Dream singer stepping out in some ultra-luxurious outfits.

Perry turned heads at Vogue World, opting for a daring design in a nearly-naked dress from Noir Kei Ninomiya’s fall 2019 collection.

A genuine Dark Horse, the singer has put her days of dressing like a high-fashion cartoon character behind her in place of elevated, chic ensembles.

As Perry looks to the future of a re-invigorated music career and a style transformation, she will continue to serve iconic fashion moments.

”Fashion is just a language,” Perry told Vogue World.

“It’s storytelling. I am so encouraged by the big morph in fashion that’s happening at the moment. Everybody is shape-shifting, changing, adapting.”
