Oops. Coding error by Travel Guides sees Dream Home ‘win’ Sunday slot | TV Tonight

Must read

Nine will be kicking itself today after an internal coding boo-boo led to a Seven “win.”

OzTAM reports Travel Guides only averaged 530,000 viewers on Sunday, less than half its number from last week.

The figure is doubtless the average of the primetime episode in Cook Islands and a daytime replay on 9GO! which needs to be coded separately to avoid an average of two audiences. Nine still won the night, however.

That left Dream Home to ‘win’ the slot at 734,000 viewers in National TV Audience (excluding the shorter ABC News at 858,000). Then from 7:30pm Spicks & Specks (640,000), MasterChef Australia (612,000) and Austin (428,000).

60 Minutes drew 838,000 from 8:10pm then later 7News Spotlight (525,000) and Ladies in Black (344,000).

Nine News was #1 at 1.3m with The Murder of Lyn Dawson replayed at 391,000. Footy Furnace was 80,000 where it screened.

Seven News averaged 1.27m while The Latest managed 295,000.

ABC News drew 858,000. Antiques Roadshow was 332,000 then The Split (145,000).

10 News First was 298,000 / 233,000 then The Sunday Project (297,000), Tulsa King (195,000) and FBI (131,000).

On SBS it was Tour de France (231,000), SBS World News (218,000 / 143,000) and The Arc De Triomphe: A Nation’s Passion (158,000).

National Total TV: Sunday 30 June 2024.
