SAN DIEGO – The 2024 season opener for the Texas A&M University-Commerce football team can be watched on national television as the Lions’ game at San Diego on August 31 is set to broadcast on truTV and MAX, as announced on Monday.
The Lions and the Aztecs will face off on truTV and is scheduled for a 5 p.m. pacific time kickoff at Snapdragon Stadium.
It marks the first Saturday game to be broadcasted on truTV this season. The game can also be streamed on MAX. It is also the first Lion football game to be nationally televised since the 2017 National Championship game.
For A&M-Commerce, it marks the first contest to be nationally televised across any sport since the 2022-23 season, when both basketball teams played at Texas on the Longhorn Network and the women’s basketball team also played at Mississippi State on the SEC Network.
