Although the tides are turning at A-COLD-WALL*, it’s also remaining the same. Ever since the British label got its start in 2015 at the hands of Samuel Ross, A-COLD-WALL* has become a streetwear favorite for technical, utilitarian designs that are always embedded with just the right amount of edge. The brand just took to Milan Fashion Week to present its new Spring/Summer 2025 collection, but most notably it’s the brand’s first collection since the departure of founder, Samuel Ross.
Without Ross, some might think that the brand will immediately veer in other directions. But in fact, the new collection still stays true to the brand’s core personality. Crafted by William Slocombe (designer director) and Liam Hassimi (brand director), the latest for the SS25 season keeps the ACW’s technical core alive.
Across the wardrobe is a selection of outerwear, knitwear, relaxed pants, tops and more that are deepened with a slightly futuristic touch. Of course, nylon remains a core fabric that extends to the collection’s entirety whether it be ruched tech pants, half-zip parkas or even crinkle zip-up jackets. With a dark aesthetic, the collection is permeated with hues of slate gray, stone blue, deep electric yellow, dust brown, black and more. Even in its newness, the collection is irrefutably familiar, which is what continues to propel the brand.
