JONESBORO, Ark. (6/28/24) – Arkansas State women’s basketball head coach Destinee Rogers announced Friday the addition of Tristan Stoutermire to the 2024-25 roster.
Stoutermire comes to Jonesboro out of Montevallo High School in Alabama. She averaged 19 points, 13 rebounds, and nine blocks in her high school career and guided the Bulldogs to the Class 4A Sub-Regionals.
The 2023-24 All-County Second Team selection averaged 12.6 points and 11.2 rebounds per game last season and netted a career high 27 points en route to the area championship game.
“We are so excited to add Tristan to our squad this year,” Rogers said. “She is the final piece of the puzzle and adds depth to our center position. She is a great kid that will represent the program and the university well.”
The 6’5 addition joins Crislyn Rose as the only signees out of high school and will be the lone freshman on the roster this season.
