Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 681,000 viewers on TBS, down 13.8 percent from last week. It’s the lowest audience total for the show since May 15 and is Dynamite’s second lowest on a Wednesday night since January 6, 2021.
In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite drew a 0.23 rating. That’s down 17.9 percent from last week and ties the second-lowest rating the show has ever done on a Wednesday night in that category.
The show went up against game three of the NBA Finals which averaged nearly 11 million viewers on ABC airing head-to-head. Dynamite ranked second on cable in the 18-49 charts, trailing only a United States Men’s National Team soccer game on TNT that aired head-to-head for just over an hour.
Dynamite trailed this week’s WWE NXT episode in viewers but was ahead in the 18-49 demo. NXT averaged 718,000 viewers on Tuesday night and drew a 0.22 rating in 18-49.
As compared to the same week in 2023, Dynamite’s overall viewership was down 18.2 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 23.3 percent.
