Freo star Nat Fyfe has praised his side for holding on against the Swans today.
They led for more than 116 minutes but saw scores levelled with just minutes to go.
“That was a really important win,” Fyfe told Fox Footy.
“To be able to play away, against the top team in the league. Ten in a row they have won. We have such high respect for them. To come up here without our skipper and come away with a win is fantastic.
“The universe works in funny ways. I got to play on one of the form players in the comp today and you won’t always win the battles but if you can win the war and contribute that’s what is important.
“One win doesn’t make a season but you want to built momentum and belief. I feel like an away win against a top of the ladder side will be a great thing for the group.”
