AFL team selection: Blues go like for like

Must read

Carlton has made one change for Sunday night’s clash with Essendon.

CARLTON has made one change for Sunday night’s sold-out clash with arch rival Essendon.

It was announced on Thursday that Orazio Fantasia would miss the game against his former side with an AC joint sprain.

In his place, the Blues have gone like-for-like, bringing Corey Durdin back into the 23.

Durdin, who collected 15 disposals and kicked a goal for the Carlton Reserves last week, joins Jordan Boyd, Jack Carroll, the re-signed Lachie Fogarty and George Hewett on the bench.

The Blues will name their sub an hour before the bounce. Jaxon Binns, Caleb Marchbank and Jesse Motlop have been named as emergencies.

The game – which kicks off from 7:20pm on Sunday – will be Hewett’s 50th in Navy Blue.

And yes, Harry McKay has again been named.
