Akasa Air, renowned for its punctuality in India, has launched QuietFlights, enhancing the comfort of travelers on early morning and late-night journeys. During flights scheduled from 10 PM to 6 AM, the airline will limit announcements to crucial safety information and modify the cabin lights to foster a serene atmosphere, promoting undisturbed rest and privacy for its passengers.

Since launching in August 2022, Akasa Air has consistently prioritized exceptional service and introduced multiple unique features to the Indian aviation sector. This new initiative emphasizes the airline’s dedication to providing a superior air travel experience that stands out in the industry.

Commenting on the announcement, Belson Coutinho, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing & Experience Officer, of Akasa Air said “At Akasa, we value the importance of privacy and peace of mind while flying, and we are pleased to introduce ‘QuietFlights’. This new initiative reinforces our commitment to create a comfortable, relaxed and peaceful cabin experience.”

Mr. Coutinho added, “In today’s fast-paced day-to-day lifestyle, QuietFlights has been consciously designed to help passengers unwind with announcements minimised to the essential safety announcements combined with ambient cabin lighting that creates a calming inflight experience”.

Akasa Air has been actively innovating to provide a comfortable and inclusive air travel experience. Its modern fleet offers generous legroom and features USB charging ports across most of its aircraft, enabling passengers to stay connected and powered up during flights. The airline’s Café Akasa service elevates in-flight dining with a variety of healthy and appealing food choices, including seasonal festive dishes and unique beverages like Kombucha, enhancing the culinary experience above the clouds. Moreover, the Pets on Akasa program facilitates easy travel for passengers with pets, offering options to keep them in the cabin or in cargo, depending on size.

Furthering its commitment to accessibility, Akasa Air has introduced Braille versions of its safety instruction and onboard menu cards to assist visually impaired travelers. The airline’s reputation for punctuality, efficient operations, and overwhelmingly positive customer feedback has established it as a top choice among travelers in India.

Since beginning operations in August 2022, Akasa Air has transported over 10 million passengers and now connects 25 cities across India and internationally, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and international destinations like Doha, Jeddah, and Riyadh.
