Playing cornerback in the National Football League is one of the toughest jobs in all of sports. Fans barely notice when cornerbacks do their job well and are quick to blame them when they make a mistake.
Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell is one of the better players in the NFL but rarely gets the respect he deserves outside of Atlanta. The team will rely on Terrell even more in 2024 after revamping the cornerback position during the offseason.
Jeff Okudah signed with the Texans and second-year cornerback Clark Phillips III is expected to replace him in the starting lineup this season. The Falcons also signed veterans Antonio Hamilton and Kevin King in free agency.
