Australian confectionery brand Allen’s has launched a surprise new treat that will be sure to delight fans.

Customers across the country can now get their hands on Monopoly-inspired lollies in iconic Allen’s flavours.

The much-loved fruity flavours have undergone a makeover to represent the Monopoly tokens, including Strawberry Hotel, Pink Raspberry Dog, Green Apple Car, Zesty Orange Top Hat and the Pineapple Duck.

The new offering will only be available in stores for a limited time and retail for $5 each.

Foodie Mama Ren was quick to spot the latest buy on shelves and shared a photo of the packet on Facebook

Nestlé Head of Marketing Confectionery Melanie Chen said: ‘Buying, selling, dreaming and scheming just got sweeter.

‘By combining the beloved tokens from Monopoly with the delightful taste of Allen’s, it’s a great excuse to get friends or family around the table to sweeten the fun.

‘We know everyone has their favourite Monopoly token and we’re sure they will find the same love for the Allen’s inspired-by-Monopoly lollies.’

Earlier this month Dusk joined forces with Allen’s to release a range of lolly-inspired bath bombs, candles, fragrant oils and room sprays.

The unique range – including the Frogs Alive Candle, Sherbies Bath Bomb and Party Mix Assorted Tealights – is scented like the Allen’s lollies Aussies know and love.

Other scents include peaches and cream, pineapples and ‘cheekies’.

The new range launched at Dusk stores on July 3, with additional products to drop in early August and late September.

The partnership will no doubt surprise thousands of fans of both Allen’s and Dusk.

Prices vary from $12.99 for the bath bombs up to $54.99 for a 350g candle.

Nestlé Head of Marketing Confectionery Melanie Chen said: ‘When you open up a bag of Allen’s, that deliciously familiar smell can instantly lift your mood.

‘So we are thrilled to partner with the candle and gifting experts from Dusk to re-create our lolly fragrance in this iconic range.’

In 2020, Oak, best known for its milk products, released Oak-flavoured Allen’s Pineapples, Allen’s Fantales and Nestle Peppermint Crisp.

At the time excited fans were eager to get their hands on the unique treat, though opinions were later divided.
