Which teams were promoted to the Premier League?
Ipswich Town had an impressive campaign in the Championship, finishing second and just one point from Leicester City.
Leeds United missed out on promotion after falling to a 1-0 defeat to Southampton in the play-off final at Wembley.
It will be Ipswich’s first time in the top-flight since 2002. Meanwhile, Leicester City and Southampton both won promotion at the first time of asking following their relegation from the Premier League in 2023.

The countdown to the new Premier League season has started, and clubs will discover their full schedule for the season on Tuesday, June 18 at 9am.
Can Arsenal ended their trophy drought next season and stop Manchester City from winning a fifth consecutive title? We will see.

When does the Premier League season start?
The 2024/25 Premier League season will begin on August 17 and it will take place over 33 weekends, with the final round of fixtures scheduled for Sunday, May 25, where all the games will kick off at the same time.
