Eyes will be trained on Arsenal this summer to see whether Mikel Arteta can bring in the right personnel to see the Gunners topple Manchester City in the Premier League.
While a number of exits are expected, the excitement surrounds who the club might bring in. Alexander Isak has been a name linked for a number of months. Reports claim Newcastle have held talks with the striker telling him he is going nowhere, though.
Meanwhile, rumour moots Arteta has met with Marcus Rashford ahead of his potential exit from Manchester United. He may leave Old Trafford if the right offer comes in having suffered poor campaigns in two of the last three seasons.
Arsenal are otherwise supposedly interested in Athletic Bilbao star Nico Williams. The attacker is thought to have a £51m release clause that the Gunners are said to be willing to meet.

Opinion: Arsenal can save millions
There are hopes that Arsenal will look to strengthen their squad with multiple summer acquisitions in another major spend for the club. However, football.london understands that the chances of another record-breaking window are slim with a focus on improving the depth over any Declan Rice-type transfer moves.
And after an impressive season, a second senior appearance for the club and now a couple of goals for England’s under-17s this summer, Ethan Nwaneri could indeed be the next player to follow in the likes of Bukayo Saka’s footsteps.

Arsenal ‘stance’ on Williams release clause
Arsenal are reportedly willing to meet the £51m (€60m) release clause of Athletic Bilbao star Nico Williams as Paris Saint-Germain also consider a move.

PSG have an advantage over Mikel Arteta due to head coach Luis Enrique holding an existing relationship with the player. Williams earned seven caps for Spain under Enrique, including four at the 2022 World Cup.

Rashford ‘secret meeting’ with Arteta
Reports online have mooted that Marcus Rashford has met with Mikel Arteta to sound out a move to Arsenal.
Rashford only registered eight goals this season and has been left out of the England squad for Euro 2024 amid a drab campaign. It was a far cry from his 30-goal haul of the prior season.
Speculation says both Rashford and Arsenal attain initial interest in a potential move albeit there would be a long way to go to see a deal get over the line. United are the only club the 26-year-old has played for having come through the club’s academy.
