Hello and welcome to the live blog bringing you all of the latest from in and around Arsenal as the transfer window continues to gain momentum.
The Gunners completed their first incoming transfer of the summer window this week, finalising the permanent capture of goalkeeper David Raya from Brentford. The Spaniard spent last season on loan at the Emirates Stadium with the club triggering an option to make the deal permanent.
Arsenal look to be closing in on another incoming by beating Chelsea to Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori. The 22-year-old was a standout player for Italy in Euro 2024 and is know as one of the brightest defensive talents in Europe.
Reports suggest that Arsenal have now agreed terms with the player over a transfer and are continuing talks with Bologna over a transfer fee. The Italian side are said to have an asking price of around €50 million (£42.3m).
Away from transfers, eyes will be on Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice this evening with both players expected to start for England against Switzerland in the Euro 2024 quarter-final. Kick-off is at 5pm.
We’ll bring you the latest news and updates from in and around the Emirates Stadium throughout the day.

Trent Alexander-Arnold hails ‘incredible’ Arsenal man
Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold has praised England teammate Aaron Ramsdale, calling the Arsenal goalkeeper ‘incredible’.
Ramsdale lost his place in the Arsenal team in the season just gone, but still earned a call-up to the Three Lions squad for Euro 2024.
Speaking to England’s official social media channels, Alexander-Arnold assessed a pass made by Ramsdale in training. He made his feelings on the Arsenal man clear.
“He’s really good with his feet. As you can see under pressure, he’s really good, even the pass to Ez.
“I’m looking at the technique more and more on the pass. He doesn’t take a touch afterwards. The shape of his body, it’s like that cat meme with a cat taking a free-kick.
“Rammers is my boy I back him to the death. Incredible goalkeeper and incredible guy.”
