Leading form analyst Mitch Lewis has given his Wednesday best bets at Sandown and Mount Gambier.
Racing in Victoria heads to Ballarat for a strong midweek card and the star tipster has three specials he wants to back on an each-way basis.
Ballarat (Soft 7)
Race 5, No. 2 – Godzilla
“He’s promised a lot and I don’t think we’ve seen the best of him,” Lewis told SENTrack.
“Jye McNeil from barrier four, he’s run well on a soft track before and that’s where I’m leaning as he’ll be best suited on the softer going up to 2000m.
“At this level he can run you a race.”
Mount Gambier (Soft 6)
Race 4, No. 1 – Four Outlaws
“He does his best work on a heavy so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we get to that.
“He was good last start in a stronger race that he faces today so I think in those conditions he’ll be pretty hard to beat.”
Race 5, No. 3 – Yourjokingme Right
“He’s drawn barrier three and likes to go forward.
“He’s been really disappointing his last two starts and I think there was a bit of a spruik on him prior to that but if we’re getting $10+, he is a play.”
