Austin Butler charms Channel 10 reporter with seductive gaze

Must read

Austin Butler went viral after charming Channel 10’s Sarah Harris during an interview on The Project, leaving her blushing and “nervous.”

The 6-minute segment had fans and Harris swooning over the charismatic Golden Globe winner as the pair sat down to discuss Butler’s new movie, The Bikeriders.

Harris took no time acknowledging Butler’s charm. She kicked the interview off by telling Butler he has a “very piercing gaze.”

“You do this thing where you look into people’s souls … I’m getting it now.”

32-year-old Butler stayed cool and kicked his gaze up a notch, saying, “Yeah? … You have a piercing gaze, too,” before locking eyes with Harris.

Harris blushed and replied, “All right, you’re making me nervous now.”

The heated interaction has since been made into a shorter clip, shared on X today, and has already received almost nine million views.

The caption read, “he needs to be locked up.”

People have been commenting calling Butler’s charm “rizz” which is the Gen Z slang for charisma.

“I wasn’t 100% sure what this thing the kids are calling “the rizz” is until I saw this clip,” someone wrote.

“Top level rizz on display

An X user joked, writing, “Hide your girlfriends,” as people noticed how flustered Harris was.

“She was struggling to stay composed,” another wrote.

“I just know she was sweating.”

Another claimed to have worked with Butler several times and confirmed, “he’s really like this in (in real life). It’s insane.”

Once the pair compose themselves, Butler goes on to tell Harris how he “always feels like an outsider,” which is shocking when the internet is already calling him the new “rizz king.”

“I felt like an outsider from the beginning. I was very shy, and I’m not outgoing,” Butler said.

Harris asked Butler how he feels when being called things like a heartthrob, to which he said, “I always found myself blushing and shrinking away.”

Harris called Butler “humble” and said “it was a joy to chat” with the viral sensation.
