Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) returned to the top of timesheets on Sunday morning at the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland. The #1 posted a strong 1:20.638 in Warm Up to place 0.080s clear of Franco Morbidelli, who completed a brilliant session with the Italian showing great pace to finish ahead of his Prima Pramac Racing teammate, Jorge Martin. The #89 now sets his sights on completing the double in Germany after Martin showed a fantastic result in the Tissot Sprint on Saturday.
Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) was fourth in a confidence-boosting morning, with the eight-time World Champion facing a huge task after qualifying down in 13th on the grid. The #93 was ahead of brother and Gresini Racing MotoGP™ teammate Alex Marquez, who was a further 0.035s behind. Meanwhile, Miguel Oliveira (Trackhouse Racing) was P8 on Sunday morning as the Portuguese rider prepares to start on the front row.
