Bindi Irwin is all smiles as she shows off beauty of Tasmania

Must read

Bindi Irwin revealed on Thursday she has also caught the love bug for Tasmania after reports suggested mother Terri will be moving to the island state soon.

The Wildlife Warrior, 25, took to Instagram with a heartwarming family video of her road trip near Cradle Mountain with husband Chandler Powell and daughter Grace.

In the clip, the trio looked over the moon as they rugged up in the freezing snow while exploring stunning nature scenes and local wildlife.

‘G’day guys, welcome to Tasmania. If you can believe it Cradle Mountain is behind me I promise it’s not just a cloud,’ Bindi began the video.

The celebrity conservationist was all smiles as she stood atop a windy outlook with the mountain in question as the backdrop, hidden by a thick mist.

‘We want to take you on our Tassie road trip. Let’s go,’ she added before the clip showed montage footage of her time in the southernmost Aussie state.

Images showed the Irwins come across various wildlife like wallabies and wombats, with Grace, three, correctly identifying them in an adorable moment.

‘This is a wombat of Cradle Mountain,’ she said at one point when they came across the animal.

She was also heard copying her famous mother by saying ‘so precious’ when she spotted a Tasmanian devil at a wildlife sanctuary.

At one point, the family of three went on a snowy hike where they created a mini snowman which resembled Olaf from the children’s movie Frozen.

It comes after reports emerged last week that Terri Irwin has also fallen in love with Tasmania and has plans to move there.

The 59-year-old is currently enjoying a four-week holiday on the island with her son Robert, her daughter Bindi, son-in-law Chandler Powell and granddaughter Grace.

According to New Idea, Terri is considering setting up a local conservation in Apple Isle while Bindi and Chandler take over the operation of Australia Zoo in Queensland.

‘Judging by all the luggage, it looks like Terri might be already looking at setting up more permanent digs,’ a source told the publication.

‘Terri’s vision will see a similar project to Australia Zoo but with a more traditional wildlife ambience and not the theme-park vibe.’
