Broadsheet, Intrepid partner to launch travel content hub | Mi3

Broadsheet Media has teamed up with Intrepid Travel to launch ‘Broadsheet Local Time’, a dedicated hub within their travel content vertical.

The hub will focus on international and domestic exploration, marking Broadsheet’s largest venture into international travel content to date. The move builds on a 2023 partnership that saw Broadsheet travel to Vietnam and Sri Lanka.

The partnership with Intrepid Travel is a strategic move to meet the growing demand for international travel content among Broadsheet’s audience. In 2024, Broadsheet Australia editor, Nick Connellan, creative solutions manager, James Williams, and other team members will embark on Intrepid trips to India, Japan, Italy, Morocco, Peru, and Tasmania. The team aims to capture the essence of these destinations and their experiences of small group travel, with each destination featuring supporting articles and social videos.

The ‘Local Time’ hub is designed to be evergreen, providing limitless opportunities for collaboration with Intrepid and other tourism bodies in discovering new countries and experiences. This initiative will allow Broadsheet to expand its coverage beyond the Australian cities of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth.
