Captain Adam Reynolds has been named in the Broncos extended squad for a possible return against the Knights this Saturday after missing the last 10 weeks with a biceps injury.
Reynolds sustained the injury in the Round 9 clash with the Roosters and has been progressing strongly in his rehab, taking another major step when he completed full training today at Red Hill.
Head Coach Kevin Walters has named Reynolds in the No.24 jersey on an extended bench, with the halfback still needing to get through two more training sessions this week before firming as a starter.
Walters has also used his extended bench to name the Origin quartet of Pat Carrigan, Payne Haas, Reece Walsh and Selwyn Cobbo pending their recovery from Wednesday night’s series decider at Suncorp Stadium.
The starting 17 named today for Brisbane is the same as that which took on the Dragons last weekend, with the make-up of the final team to play the Knights to be decided later in the week.
