Bronny James is looking for redemption in his second Las Vegas Summer League game.
The Lakers rookie had a tough first go around on Friday in a loss to the Rockets. He finished with eight points, five rebounds and two steals but shot 3-for-14 from the field and 0-for-8 from 3-point range.
James expressed disappointment in his performance, admitting that he is going through a shooting funk. “I just feel like I’m in a little slump right now,” he told the media after his first game in Vegas.
James’ defense has lived up to expectations but his offense has left much to be desired. He’ll look to get back on track against a Celtics team that is headlined by first-round pick Baylor Scheierman and 2024 NBA champions Neemias Queta and Jordan Walsh.
