Jena Sims, the wife of golf superstar Brooks Koepka, has put her own twist on the viral “Hawk Tuah” trend.

The TikTok creator and celebrity spouse filmed herself spit-shining Koepka’s golf clubs, a concept she says was inspired by the three-time PGA Championship winner himself. Captioning the video “Caddying 101,” Sims has been a constant presence in Koepka’s successful golf career, having met him over nine years ago at the Masters.

In the clip, Sims appears to spit on an iron before cleaning it with a towel, all the while miming along to the viral clip from Hailey Welch that took the internet by storm.

Sims isn’t new to caddying for her husband, Koepka. This responsibility is often shouldered by family members and significant others during the relaxed Masters Par Three Contest.

“I love being able to support Brooks and watch him because he’s so talented,” she shared with Golf Digest. “He’ll say to me all the time: ‘It must be so boring walking around in the crowd watching me play.’ And I’m like, no way. I actually really enjoy it.”

“Since the Masters is very serious, it’s pretty much the golfing equivalent of the Super Bowl. They allow the players’ spouses and kids to act as caddies at the [Par 3 Contest] which is why I’m dressed in the jumpsuit,” explained Sims while present at the event. Koepka commended his wife saying she absolutely “killed it” in her role as a caddy.

Although Sims and Koepka first crossed paths at the iconic Augusta, Georgia tournament, their relationship remained just friendly for a few years, at least publicly. It was only when sports commentator Joe Buck mistakenly identified her as the golfer’s ex-girlfriend Becky Edwards at the 2017 US Open that their romance became public knowledge, reports the Mirror US.
