BYU Football Player Ratings in College Football 25

Must read

The NCAA Football video game series is back after 11 long years and is now rebranded as College Football 25. The early access drops at 4:00 ET today, and with one fun thing we get to see is how the EA people rate the players. The below YouTube video has each team’s ratings. You can see BYU starting at the 19:20 mark.

BYU is rated as a bottom-half Big 12 team, which shouldn’t come to a surprise, and the highest rated players are on defense. Below is a screenshot of BYU’s top 13 rated players.

Top Rated Players

  • Tyler Batty — Batty is BYU’s lone Preseason All Big 12 selection and is the highest overall rated player at 84. He has the “take down ability” which should reflect his pass-rushing skills.
  • Micah Harper — Harper missed all of last season with a knee injury, but the sixth-year junior is BYU’s second highest overall player with a 83 rating.
  • Brayden Keim — BYU’s projected starting left tackle comes in with a 83 rating and 3 physical attributes — pocket shield, PA shield, and wear down. He is a star on offense.
  • LJ Martin — BYU’s highest skill position player wasn’t designated a star, but has 3 physical abilities in head first, arm bar, and workhorse.

Quarterbacks

Gerry Bohanaon is BYU’s top rated QB with a 79 overall rating. His 86 speed rating is the fastest in the QB room. 3 QBs have a 75 overall rating — Jake Retzlaff, Treyson Bourquet, and Patrick Anderson (?). Maybe McCae Hillstead should have been for Anderson, I’m not sure. Cade Fennegan is rated at 60 overall

Fastest Players

BYU’s fastest player player in the game is RB Miles Davis, who has 97 speed and 95 acceleration. He is a 71 overall. The next fastest players are are cornerback Evan Johnson and Wide Receiver Parker Kingston with 96 speed. Parker also has the shifty physical attribute and is BYU’s most agile player with a 94 agility rating.

  • SS Faletau Satulau is BYU’s highest rated true freshman with a 74 rating.
  • Ryner Swanson is the highest rated true freshman with a 72 rating.
  • Chase Roberts is the highest rated WR (80 overall), followed by Kody Epps (76), Parker Kingston (74), Darrius Lassiter (74), and Keelan Marion (72).
