Cancer Monthly Horoscope

Must read

MONTH OF June

Take it easy, Crab. The Sun is in savasana for the first three weeks of the month, relaxing in Gemini and your twelfth house of healing and closure. This is your annual “low-power” cycle, a time to nest, rest and release. Before Cancer season—and your birthday—kick into gear on June 20, clear the decks of anything you don’t want to bring into your next year of life. Wrap up lingering projects, resolve simmering resentments and do some soul-searching.

No need to cut your sabbatical short once Cancer season starts on June 20. Jupiter, the planet of expansion and personal growth, is now in Gemini until June 9, 2025. This cycle, which began on May 25, last happened from June 2012 to June 2013.

We have to tell you, Cancer, that it can be a healing yet emotional time. You’re completing a decade-plus chapter, and there could be some work on forgiveness, release and vulnerability in store. An important transition could be underway as certain phases or relationships reach a natural conclusion. This energy will resonate until next June 9, when Jupiter moves into Cancer and starts a new 12-year cycle of your life.

Don’t be surprised if you’re tired or unfocused—just roll with the right-brained energy for now and don’t force yourself to rally when you feel tapped out. You may need more rest now because, whether you realize it or not, you’re doing a lot of internal work. With the Sun AND Jupiter in this dreamy space, your subconscious is more activated than usual (and that’s saying a lot!). Your instincts are especially on point, and your dreams could be vivid and prophetic. Warning: You’ll absorb people’s energy like a sponge, so watch who you spend your time with. Pay special attention to strong gut feelings and “coincidences.” That’s the universe guiding you, Cancer!

On June 2, Jupiter will make a rare meetup with deep-digging Pluto in Aquarius and your intimate eighth house. Your psychological powers are at peaking, along with your ability to bring a roomful of people to tears! Strong emotions that you’ve kept inside could surface, and you could also find yourself in the company of a well-connected person who acts as a guardian angel for you. Bring on the miracles and serendipities!

That divine wisdom that’s afoot will be especially palpable at the Gemini new moon on June 6. Hosting a new moon of fresh starts in your twelfth house of endings sounds like a bit of a paradox. But if you think of the “circle of life,” endings naturally flow into beginnings. What can you clear away to make space for something new?

And how about adding some blissful beauty? Art, music and poetry are balm for your soul as this new moon makes an exact conjunction (meetup) with aesthetic Venus. Your compassionate side could be dialed up, and you’ll want to be generous with someone in your world who’s struggling. But careful, Crab: The new moon is also at a tense 90-degree square to Saturn in Pisces and your generous ninth house. Letting your boundaries get overly porous could create unhealthy dependency or allow someone who makes you feel vulnerable to slip through the cracks.

This new moon will also amplify your intuition, so follow any hunches. Tap into higher wisdom with meditation, journaling or creative visualization. Energetic seeds planted today could blossom in the next six months. If there were a perfect new moon for writing down intentions and asking the universe for clear signs, this is it!

Your fighting spirit makes a showing on June 11 as heated Mars in your teamwork zone clashes with domineering Pluto. You could satisfy your outsized desire to bring about justice by championing a cause, even if it means standing up to authority figures. Watch for power struggles, which could flare up out of nowhere now.

Friends might get mired in a money dispute, or jealousy could fracture a group endeavor. While YOUR competitive side may be on fire, remember that the goal is to create a workable solution for all, not to stamp out the perceived opposition. Considering a joint venture? Make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into, especially if it involves doing business with friends.

And then…you finally start feeling like yourself again. June 20 kicks off Cancer season with the summer solstice —the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere. While the arrival of YOUR birthday season always marks the most appropriate time of the year to put yourself and your projects first, give yourself a day to wake up, shake off the heavy vibes of the past four weeks and return your focus to numero uno.

With Jupiter in Gemini, an exciting new venture might suddenly feel a bit overwhelming. Make sure you’re getting enough “me time” and not giving away all your energy.

The best way to determine that? Slow down and tune in! The word “solstice” derives from the Latin phrase “sol systere,” which translates to “Sun stands still.” As our central star reaches its highest point in the northern hemisphere, it appears to stop in its tracks for a couple days before starting its southward descent. Follow the leader and do the same! Halt anything that’s moving too swiftly and course correct for a few more days.

While you’re at it, check in on your closest people. On June 21, the first of a rare duo of Capricorn full moons beams into your seventh house of committed relationships and dynamic duos. Between now and the second full moon on July 21, everything from your relationship to a key business alliances could reach a turning point.

Is it time for a partnership to go deeper, even into official status—or to cut the ties that bind? At the full moon, things could go either way. Look back to the January 11 Capricorn new moon for clues about what could manifest now. If you’ve been on the fence about which direction to follow in your romantic life, you’ll get a clear signal.

Don’t think you have to figure this out alone, however. The seventh house is about balance and equality, and it can help you take a practical step back from your emotions to initiate some healthy dialogue. Whether you’re negotiating the finer points of a contract or just letting someone know what you need to feel cherished, grab the talking stick and then pass it back and forth.

The month ends with you deep-diving into your grand plans, when structured Saturn turns retrograde (backward) in Pisces and your expansive ninth house from June 29 to November 15. While Saturn makes its yearly U-turn, you may decide to scale back on a lofty endeavor and methodically get all the fundamentals in place. Cancers are normally cautious about taking risks, and Saturn retrograde will help ensure that you’re not leaping without a backup plan. You might opt for a modified approach that will allow you to try before you buy.

If you’ve been traveling a lot or just haven’t felt anchored enough at home, take a little break from being out in the world and return to the comforts of your “shell.” If you’ve put off a trip, especially for business, now might be the time to plan it. Some Crabs could explore an independent business venture, motivational speaking or even a return to school. Do your research while Saturn’s retrograde. Weigh the pros and cons before you make a big move—and don’t be shy about asking for help. Saturn rules mentors, and a coach or seasoned expert can guide you to better decisions.

The first week of the month might find you being a little too goal-driven in your love life, but that will soon simmer down to friendly fire. Until June 9, lusty Mars is in Aries and your tenth house of long-term plans. You or someone else could be piling on extra pressure in a “so, where is this going?” kind of way.

Luckily, this high-pressure approach (which rarely works, at least not how we hope it will) doesn’t stretch too far into June. In short order, the red planet relocates to Taurus and your eleventh house of casual connections and technology, staying from June 9 until July 20. An online attraction can heat up, so single Crabs should give those swiping claws a workout! Sparks could fly with a friend, and if you’re both feeling the chemistry, why not explore? Your self-protective sign takes a while to fully trust and open up. And who better to do that with than someone who’s passed your ironclad loyalty tests?

Of course, you’ll want to be on the lookout for any potential complications while flirtatious Venus is in Gemini and your twelfth house of illusions. Someone may not be telling you the whole story. Maybe they have other entanglements or some unfinished business. You might be tempted to toe the line between flirtation and friendship, starting an emotional thread with a person you can’t follow through on. With expansive Jupiter now in Gemini for the next year, your imagination could definitely be your most interesting sidekick—or your worst enemy if you start to delude yourself.

The part of you that desires fantasy and surrender—your inner siren—is begging to be seen. Find a healthy, non-destructive way to indulge that bodice-ripping creature that lives in every one of us. Free your wild side and hopefully the rest will follow!

And if all else fails? Wait until the second half of the month. On June 17, charm magnet Venus sails into YOUR sign, and you’ll get your playful friskiness back. Venus is here until July 11, bringing some peak summer moments for love! Go ahead and glam up or indulge any beautification projects that help you feel gorgeous and confident.

While looking and feeling good about yourself is more than skin-deep, Venus encourages your sensible sign to get a little more decadent than you usually do. The unapologetic pursuit of pleasure will make you a magnet for everything from prosperity to a hot new admirer or three, especially once Cancer season arrives on June 20.

Single Cancers could meet someone who shares your values while still stoking your adventurous spirit. Coupled Crabs might find they need a little more breathing room than usual, but autonomy makes the heart grow fonder! And if there are any changes of status, they’re likely to happen between June 21 and July 21, the dates of this year’s rare duo of Capricorn full moons. Capricorn rules your committed partnership house. This summer is here to rearrange your relationships for the better, guided by your celestial ruler and her lunar magic. Now, what were you so worried about in the first place?

Wired, tired or a whole lot of both? If the stars have their say, you’ll feel stretched in both directions, and that could be a lot to navigate.

The busy part comes because demanding Mars has been in Aries and your tenth house of career since April 30. Long hours, short deadlines and the weight of responsibility have fallen on your sturdy shoulders. You’re making it happen, but still…whew!

Luckily Mars will move into Taurus and your collaborative eleventh house from June 9 to July 20, not a moment too soon. It’s time to delegate duties and get your crew shipshape. There could be some tense moments with Mars here, and you won’t be able to mince words with the slackers. But it will be worth it once you get Team Crab on track.

All the while, you need to somehow pace yourself, especially while the Sun is in Gemini and your restful twelfth house until June 20. During the first three weeks of the month, you could be buzzing one minute and chugging double espressos the next just to stay awake. Your internal rhythm is off, and as eager as you are to take the world by storm, you need extra sleep and self-care now. This is also a reflective period, so even as you charge ahead, you may be navigating some deep emotional waters.

With Jupiter here until June 9, 2025, get used to taking lots of restorative breaks in between whatever world-changing endeavors you’re engaged in, Cancer. You’ll perk up once Cancer season arrives on June 20. And with not one but two Capricorn full moons this summer (June 21 and July 21), a couple of key partnerships could become official. Make sure that anyone you choose as a running mate has skills that complement yours—and the stamina to pull off their promises!
