There’s been carnage in the first half of Manly’s Round 15 clash with the Dragons as the Sea Eagles have lost four stars to injuries in the opening 40 minutes.
Enforcers Taniela Paseka and Toafofoa Sipley were ruled out in the games first 16 minutes with knee and thumb injuries before star centre Reuben Garrick was deemed to be a category One HIA just before half time.
Paseka was seen receiving treatment in the back field five minutes into the game, with Fox League’s Jake Duke later revealing the middle forward has suffered a suspected fractured thumb.

Not long after, Sipley was taken from the field with a suspected knee injury, before Garrick was left reeling from a Christian Tuipulotou hit and almost immediately ruled out with a Category One HIA.
Garrick will now miss the Sea Eagles Round 16 clash with the Rabbitohs as he enters the NRL’s mandatory 11-day stand down period.
Corey Waddell was also removed from the field late half, with Jake Duke reporting the forward is suffering from an ankle injury.
Both Waddell and Sipley are doubts to return in the second half for the injury-riddled Sea Eagles.
DRAGONS LOSE CENTRE IN WARM UP
Dragons centre Moses Suli was pulled from Shane Flanagan’s starting line up minutes before kick off with a hamstring injury.
Fox League sideline commentator Jake Duke provided further clarification on the situation.
“He felt a pull in his hamstring in the warm up. (They) aren’t sure how serious it is. He will go for scans tomorrow,” Duke said.
Christian Tuipulotou replaced Suli in the side.
WARRIORS CENTRE’S INJURY BLOW
The Warriors were handed a huge blow with gun centre Rocco Berry going down clutching his wrist in the first half of his side’s clash with the Storm.
Berry came reeling out of a tackle before leaving the field in the 47th minute, with commentator Andrew Voss saying “he’s in serious trouble”.
“The woes of Rocco Berry… he’s in an awful lot of pain,” he said.
