HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) – The Centennial football program is transitioning from 11-man to 8-man.
The Broncos take the drop after a winless 2023 campaign. Centennial also have a new coach this season, former Hastings College assistant Riley Ostendorf.
“8-man is definitely a lot more based on speed is what we’ve learned and just trying to work scheme wise on building what kind of offense I want to run, switching from 11-man to 8-man has definitely been challenging,” said Riley Ostendorf, Centennial football head coach.
The Broncos open their 2024 season on the road against Thayer Central on Sept. 6th.
