Those of you who enjoy rocking a turtleneck have Christian Cage to thank for making the top fashionable again, according to the AEW wrestler.
Since turning heel in June 2022, Cage has rocked a turtleneck at AEW events and has even competed in a sleeveless variant of the attire.
On a recent edition of the “Insight” podcast, Cage bragged about how well he wears the turtleneck. He said,
“I’ve managed to bring the turtleneck back into fashion. And nobody wears it the way that I wear it obviously. But you can see my influence. You’re starting to see it sprinkled out throughout not just wrestling but in pop culture. People starting to pull out the turtleneck. [I am] an icon in many ways.”
Cage recently challenged for the AEW World Championship at AEW Double or Nothing 2024 but was unable to dethrone reigning champion Swerve Strickland.
