Coleman Medallist Scott Cummings has ranked his top 10 players in the AFL ahead of Round 14 of the 2024 season.
Cummings releases his power rankings weekly on SEN WA Breakfast and brought in Sydney’s Errol Gulden this week at the expense of GWS midfielder Tom Green.
Carlton captain Patrick Cripps is the next man in as the top name on Cummings’ watch-list.
Check out his top 10 below.
10. Caleb Serong (Fremantle)
9. Max Gawn (Melbourne)
8. Charlie Curnow (Carlton)
7. Errol Gulden (Sydney)
“He’s coming in straight to number seven.
“When I look at it, the out is Tom Green. I’m not having Green ahead of Serong, Gawn and Curnow.”
6. Christian Petracca (Melbourne)
“He goes from five to six with his injury.”
5. Zach Merrett (Essendon)
“Merrett has gone from four to five … I’m not just sure he’ll be in the top five most important come season’s end though.”
4. Chad Warner (Sydney)
“Warner has gone from six to four with a bullet … and I’m not sure he stays there either.”
3. Marcus Bontempelli (Western Bulldogs)
2. Nick Daicos (Collingwood)
1. Isaac Heeney (Sydney)
“Heeney is one but only just … he’s fighting with Daicos for the number one spot.”
