JONESBORO, Ark. (6/18/24) – Arkansas State women’s basketball head coach Destinee Rogers announced Tuesday the addition of Colton Crowder to the 2024-25 coaching staff.

Crowder began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Arkansas in 2017-18 before becoming the video coordinator at Little Rock the next season. He returned to the Trojans ahead of the 2023-24 campaign after serving as an assistant coach at Farmington High School in 2021-22.

“I’m so excited and thankful to join Coach Dezz’s staff at Arkansas State,” Coach Crowder said. “I can’t wait to get to work with our team this summer. Big things are happening in Jonesboro!”

Colton is the son of Carla Crowder, who won 840 games and four state championships in 38 years of coaching in high school girls’ basketball. She was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame in April.

“I am so excited to add Colton to our staff,” Coach Rogers said. “He has a knack for developing great relationships and being relatable to the players. His knowledge of the game will be monumental in helping us elevate to new levels.”
