A society couple has tied the knot surrounded by Sydney‘s social set in a lavish three-day wedding in France.
Alexander Porter – whose family owns Australia’s leading condom brand Four Seasons – said ‘I do’ with partner Chris Ledlin on Tuesday evening.
Their wedding took place at Château de la Napoule, a restored French castle, located in Mandelieu-la-Napoule – about a 15 minute drive from Cannes.
Like his brother Michael Porter, who married longtime partner Billy Mitchell in an Italian wedding last year, the event is a three-day extravaganza attended by celebrities, business moguls and influencers.
Among the notable stars is Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, who has been enjoying her time off from The Kyle & Jackie O show while holidaying in Europe.
The radio star stole the show on the couple’s big day, looking ever inch the Hollywood movie star in a $5,500 Mariam Seddiq white strapless bridal gown that featured a puff skirt.
She completed her look with a pair of long black Opera gloves and Valentino shades.
Joined by her close friend Gemma O’Neill, the 49-year-old blonde beauty also carried a Paco Rabanne 1969 ball chainmail disc clutch, worth an eye-watering $1,700.
The radio star posted several photos of the event on her Instagram page, and explained that the two grooms encouraged all female guests to wear white.
‘Prepare yourselves cause we’re going a bit extra today!!!! The boys said “make sure you bring the glam” and encouraged girls to wear white if they wanted to (before the wedding police shoot me down!),’ she wrote.
‘This was honestly the most beautiful wedding I have EVER seen and probably will ever see in my lifetime. Wow!!!! Thank you for allowing us to share in your spectacular and ever so loving & special day,’ she added.
The two grooms both looked incredibly dapper in matching cream tuxedo jackets with white shirts, black trousers and bow ties.
They looked overjoyed as they posed for photos outside of the castle while toasting with Champagne.
At the reception, the French Riviera lit up as fireworks were set off while the couple cut their cake.
The wedding extravaganza is a three-day event, with a welcome party taking place at Villefranche-sur-Mer on Monday.
In photos from the first day of celebrations, Alexander looked smart in a stylish cream suit, tortoise shell sunglasses and tan leather shoes.
Meanwhile, Chris dressed for the summer soirée in a black vest and matching trousers.
For the pre-game warm up, Jackie stunned in a very revealing low-cut $3,000 Zimmermann floral dress.
She later almost suffered a wardrobe malfunction as her assets were close to spilling out of her outfit.
‘Oh my God, my boobs! I hate showing boobs,’ she said in a recent video as she adjusted her dress.
Meanwhile, Gemma wore a black $1,600 Zimmermann corset dress.
Alexander is following in the Porter family footsteps, who made their wealth from condoms and lubricants, as a brand manager for the company.
His new husband Chris works for YouTube.
Alexander’s brother Michael, who is the founder of pimple patch business Skin Control, said ‘I do’ to his long-time partner Billy Mitchell in Italy in July 2023.
The now-married pair, who originally planned to marry in 2020, are entrenched in Sydney’s elite social scene, with their guests including bikini model Natasha Oakley and liquor heir Theo Chambers, socialite Nadia Fairfax-Wayne and stylist Caroline Tran.
Their ceremony was officiated by Victoria’s Secret model Bridget Malcolm.
The multi-day event included a welcome party at the restaurant Locanda La Tirlindana, where the couple arrived via vintage Porsche to music and dancing in the cobblestone streets.
The glamorous affair was also a child-free event, with the couple strongly advising guests to leave their children at home.
