Global online fashion giant Shein has confirmed a new location for its Perth pop-up store two weeks after the original venue cancelled the highly-anticipated event.
The ultra-cheap retailer will now hold its three-day event in the western suburbs at Claremont Showgrounds.
“Shein is excited to confirm the planned Perth pop-up event will proceed between 5-7th July at the Centenary Pavilion, Claremont Showgrounds,” a Shein spokesperson said.
“We’re committed to providing the best pop-up experience for our Perth customers, who will be ‘welcomed aboard’ Shein Air, showcasing the newest collections across Autumn/Winter selections.”
The pop-up will showcase Shein’s extensive range of on-trend, size-inclusive apparel and accessories for all genders and ages and some of its newest collections across the Autumn and Winter selections.
Perth shoppers will also be offered a wide range of exclusive experiences, such as a beauty bar offering make-up tutorials and complimentary touch-ups featuring best-selling SHEGLAM products.
There will also be DJ performances, customer giveaways, and on-trend photo moments.
It is not known why Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Centre scrapped the pop-up store, with a spokesperson for the venue only confirming that it would no longer be going ahead.
“At Lakeside Joondalup, we work with a diverse range of retailers, partners and brands to provide our customers with engaging centre experiences. This includes short-term pop-up activations with local businesses, community groups, and popular brands,” the spokesperson told WAToday.
“This activation will no longer be proceeding at Lakeside Joondalup, but we look forward to bringing other new and exciting experiences to our community soon.”
