A couple said they were violently assaulted while walking their dog in Adelaide’s north.
Richard Becker, 78, and his wife, Yan, were walking their border collie at their usual spot, the Fremont Park dog park in Elizabeth, when they had a run-in with another dog owner on Monday.

Richard told 7NEWS the man, who was with two young boys walking a jack russell terrier, became angry at the couple for walking their dog in a section of the park meant for smaller dogs and began yelling at Yan.
The man then allegedly punched Richard in the face before pushing him to the ground.
“He’s right in (my wife’s) face and he’s swearing at her so I stood up to defend my wife then he turns around and (says) ‘Oh you’re looking for a fight are you?’,” Richard said.
“I said ‘Yeah if you want it’ and he punched me in the face.
“(He) punched me about three or four times, I think he kicked me in my knee and he pushed me over.”
The man then allegedly turned on Yan.
“While I was lying on the grass trying to get up, he’s punching my wife in the face,” Richard said.
The couple were treated for serious facial injuries and shock.
During the ordeal, they said they managed to take a photo of their alleged attacker through a fence.
Richard said they showed the photo to police, who said they recognised the man.
Police told 7NEWS.com.au they were investigating the incident and had interviewed the couple at their northern suburbs home on Tuesday.
No arrests have been made.
Richard and his wife say they are now too scared to walk to the park alone.
“I’m so scared and now my daughter asked me ‘Do you want to take the dog today?’ and I said ‘No, no’,” Yan said.
Richard said: “(He’s) a nasty man, just looking for trouble as if it’s his front yard.”
