David Taggart has named his rolling jockey seeds following Stradbroke weekend.
The former star jockey will rank five riders on a weekly basis and update his list as the year goes on.

1. James McDonald
“James McDonald stays at the top of the pile,” Taggart added.
“He rode four winners and over the last two Saturday’s he’s ridden nine winners and he probably should’ve ridden ten on Pereille but we’ll forgive him on that.
2. Craig Willaims
“He didn’t ride a winner but his ride on Bella Nipotina was just as good as the ride on Stefi Magnetica.
“He shoots up to number two, what a ride on Bella Nipotina.”
3. Blake Shinn
“Shinn goes down to three, J-Mac outrode Shinn the other day.
“Jamie Kah is out of the top five as Shinn takes over, she went away on holidays and the Taggster doesn’t like jockeys going away on holiday even though the Taggster went on plenty himself.”
4. Zac Lloyd
“He’s a young kid on the way up.
“He may win a Cox Plate this year if he rides Broadsiding at 49.5kgs.
“What a ride it was on Stefi Magnetica in the Stradbroke, he goes straight up to number four after not being in the top five for a month.
5. Ethan Brown + Celine Gaudray
“You know I love a love story and I love the social side of the riders, these two go in as a couple.
“Ethan Brown and Celine Caudray at five winners between them over the weekend at Sandown.
“They go in as a couple which is very controversial.”
