It’s super Saturday in Paris
It’s the penultimate day of tennis at Roland-Garros 2024 when 12 finals will be played over the next few hours.
At 3pm on Court Philippe-Chatrier Polish world No.1 Iga Świątek will aim to win her fourth Roland-Garros title – and third in a row – when she takes on Italian 12th seed Jasmine Paolini in the women’s final.
Before that at 11am Diede de Groot will go for her 14th successive Grand Slam singles title in the women’s wheelchair final on Chatrier.
Later the men’s doubles final will be played on the same court when more Italians – Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori – take on Croatia’s Mate Pavic and El Salvador’s Marcelo Arevalo.
Elsewhere, there are another five wheelchair finals taking place including the men’s singles and Quad singles finals.
And all four junior finals are played today too, including the first ever all-Czech Grand Slam junior final in the girls’ singles on Court Simonne-Mathieu.
