It’s looking pretty overcast at the moment, but the rain is holding off for now so we’re looking forward to a great day of tennis.
Round 2 of the men’s and women’s singles starts today, with No.9 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas and Daniel Altmaier getting things under way on Court Suzanne-Lenglen, while over on Court Simonne-Matthieu big-serving Pole Hubert Hurkacz and the USA’s Brandon Nakashima are first up.
At midday, home favourite Caroline Garcia will take to Court Philippe-Chatrier to face 2020 Roland-Garros finalist Sofia Kenin.
Another French favourite, Richard Gasquet, who is playing in his 21st Roland-Garros, headlines the night match and takes on No.2 seed Jannik Sinner.
