Leading form analyst Dean Watling has given his best bet on Saturday.
Watling believes St Lawrence will return a winner at Caulfield for star jockey Damian Lane.
The Ciaron Maher-trained boasts an impressive winning record having won six races from 12 starts and Watling is predicting a statement win on the weekend.
“I thought St Lawrence was the best bet anywhere around the grounds,” Watling told SENTrack.
“He brings great form around Waterford and Iknowastar which has been franked and his second-up form says him unbeaten and he’s unbeaten at Caulfield.
“First-up they were a little bit negative oput of the gate and he had some slick sectionals home but I just want to see him use that gate.
“The main danger is Highlights who is on the quick back-up and down to 1600m which is a big tick and I doubt they’ll go back on that horse this time so I just want to see St Lawrence use the gate.
“St Lawrence is the best anywhere around the grounds.”
Highlights for Bjorn Baker is the $5.50 second favourite with St Lawrence holding his price of $2.90.
