Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) was quickest on Sunday morning at the Motul TT Assen – setting a solid 1:32.309. It was tight at the top in Warm Up with Di Giannantonio leading Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP) by a mere 0.004s as the #93 aims for a better Sunday in the Netherlands. Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing) rounded out the top three – setting seven laps across the session. The #12 will be the sole Aprilia to line up on the grid with Aprilia Racing’s Aleix Espargaro and Lorenzo Savadori missing the remainder of the Grand Prix due to injuries sustained in the Sprint.
Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) was fourth at the end of a strong morning, as the Italian sets his sights on another victory at Assen. Behind the #1 was Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing), who will start in fifth on the grid after receiving a three-place grid penalty for slow riding in Q2. Further back, Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3) rounds out the top 10 spots – aiming to score solid points in the race.
All that is left to do is race, with Bagnaia having the opportunity to replicate Mick Doohan’s success at Assen. You don’t want to miss any of the action, so make sure you tune in at 14:00 local time (UTC +2)!
