Tracy creates an AI clone for after her death
Pondering our own mortality is confronting – but emerging technology is being used to make us immortal. Sort of.
In Los Angeles, Tracy visits StoryFile, a studio that can create a ‘digital interactive clone’ of her using artificial intelligence, which her loved ones will be able to talk to and interact with once she’s gone.

“From an emotional point of view, I struggle with it,” Tracy explains.
“I thought about asking you to recreate my mother and I thought ‘no, I just don’t think I can go there.'”
After sitting in a room with 20 cameras and taking a short recording, an AI video clone of Tracy is created.
Watch the moment Tracy sees her AI self in the video below:
“I never imagined I’d be sitting across from my AI self having a spontaneous conversation,” (the real) Tracy says.
Al Tracy is able to answer questions about her life and career, all with the same voice, tone and mannerisms as her no-AI self.

The pairs reveal how much closer they have become
The 12-week challenge has helped some of the participants turn around much more than their health.
For some, it’s completely revamped their relationship too.
When Dr Nick visits Eliana and Enver at the end of the 12 weeks, Eliana reveals that their marriage was on the rocks before the show.
”If we had stayed on the path we were, we wouldn’t be together down the track,” she explains.
Enver’s drinking in particular took a huge toll on their marriage and family.
”I’m going to be honest, we’ve slept in separate beds because when he’s gotten that drunk I get upset, I go to sleep on the lounge.
“I was actually tired of always saying, for all these years, ‘I’m disappointed in you, En, I’m disappointed”.

Now that they have revamped their lifestyle, they are closer than ever.
“We encourage each other a lot more, we actually believe in each other a lot more. Now when he’s getting undressed, it’s like ‘damn, look at that!'” she jokes, which catches Enver off-guard.
“I wouldn’t say that on camera!” he replies.
But it’s not just them that have found a deeper bond thanks to their changes.
Father and son Duncan and Tom explain that they’re currently closer than they’ve ever been.
”The strength of our relationship and the way we talk to each other, the content of what we’re talking about… having a real man-to-man relationship,” Tom explains, getting emotional.
“I was going down a pretty crap path in terms of health and if I didn’t address it, the opportunity to address it with you has been really really awesome. Couldn’t have asked for anything better really,” he tells his dad.
“I’m proud of you too,” Duncan responds.

The participants find out their new and improved biological ages
At the start of the 12 weeks, the four pairs were put through a series to health, fitness and sleep tests to determine their biological age – the age at which they are ageing physically.
For many, the results were devastating – but after 12 weeks of building healthy habits, it’s time to see whether they’ve turned it around.
