The son of former 49ers and Browns executive Carmen Policy, Ed Policy has worked with the Packers since August 2012, joining the organization as vice president and general counsel before being promoted to chief operating officer and general counsel in early 2018. Prior to his service with the Packers, Policy served in several roles in the Arena Football League, briefly replacing David Baker as interim commissioner in 2008 before the league shut down in 2009.
Policy has worked extensively in the business side of the Packers’ organization, including overseeing the development of the club’s 45-acre mixed-use Titletown district near Lambeau Field. Throughout his 12 years spent with the team, Policy built a stellar reputation, which was evident in the board’s unquestioned support and approval of Policy as the next leader of the franchise.
