Emma Raducanu is said to have a bigger net worth than fellow tennis star Katie Boulter and partner Alex de Minaur combined. Despite being just 21 years old, reports suggest that Raducanu has already racked up a cool wealth of around £10million, much thanks to endorsements like Nike, Dior, Tiffany’s, BA and Vodafone.
Meanwhile, GB No. 1 Boulter and Aussie tennis beau De Minaur are said to have a combined fortune of £3.95m – Boulter at a reported £1.58m while De Minaur’s wealth is estimated at £2.37m. While Raducanu spent most of 2023 away from the courts recovering from injury, her net worth skyrocketed through company Harbour 6 – where she is the director and sole employee.
Accounts filings from earlier this year showed profits surging from £667k in 2022 to £10.2m in 2023 – albeit being hit with a £1.8m corporation tax bill. Documents also show that Raducanu’s company had made more than £6.2m in cash, £2.3m in stocks and £1.6m owed by debtors.
Boulter on the other hand has sponsorships with Nike and Wilson, with the rest of her income coming from tournament prize pots – three WTA Tour titles and seven ITF Circuit wins to her name. Meanwhile, on top of his tennis winnings, 25-year-old boyfriend De Minaur also enjoys endorsement from the likes of Swissie Wellness, Tag Heuer, Wilson, Asics and FairMarkets.
Raducanu has earned significantly less prize money (£3.1m) than De Minaur (£10.7m) but has won more than Boulter (£1.9m) largely thanks to her impressive US Open triumph three years ago. Despite having won a lot less than her two counterparts, her estimated net worth is still over double that of the tennis power couple.
All three tennis stars, meanwhile, will be looking to bolster their net worth even further this summer as they head to the prestigious Wimbledon tournament. Raducanu – who was entered into the competition via wildcard – made it to the fourth round of the competition in 2021 before being knocked out by Ajla Tomljanović through 6-4 and 3-0 matches.
She’s set to face Russian pro Ekaterina Alexandrova on Centre Court on Monday in her first game of the tournament after sharpening her skillset at the Eastbourne International this week. Fellow GB star Boulter enters Wimbledon by seed for the first time in her career, and hopes to improve on her third-round bests from 2022 and 2023.
The WTA No. 29 will face Germany’s Tatjana Maria on Tuesday in her initial game of the 2024 SW19 tournament. ATP No. 9 De Minaur will hope to get the better of some of the world’s strongest tennis players at this summer’s tournament – his best finish at Wimbledon is reaching the fourth round in 2022 before being humbled by Cristian Garín three sets to two.
ADM was supposed to face Corentin Moutet in his Wimbledon 2024 opener before the Frenchman pulled out due to bone edema – an accumulation of fluid inside bone marrow. Instead, he will face fellow Australian James Duckworth – who was given a lifeline after losing in the third-round of qualifying.
Wimbledon kicks off on Monday, July 1.
